LOVE that Paevey's returning, but would hate for Maxie and Spinelli to break up. I wonder how they'll explain his return (if he's corporal vs. a ghost or flashback), since we all saw him die on-screen.
Not excited at all…we’ve brought enough people back from the dead this month. Unless, of course it’s been the devilishly delicious Dr. David Hayward behind all of this…then FULL SPEED AHEAD!
I wasn't watching during the Nathan years. But I was during the early Spinelli years, and again since 2020. I love Maxie and Spinelli together, and would hate to see them threatened by an old love.
I love that Nathan is coming back! I have been a soap fan for my entire life as my Nana got me into GH and others that are now defunct from the moment I was born. The American soap is the arrest of logic and reason for an hour of entertainment.
I may not have liked all the characters on the soap but I do love the entertainment that makes me forget the realities of life that I may be tired of dwelling on. Yes, a Nathan/Maxie/Spinelli triangle would be difficult to watch but then again, wouldn't it be soapy, sudsy fun to see Obrecht helping Nathan, Jason advising Spinelli, and Nina or Felicia helping Maxie? What about Cody and James having a close relationship with Nathan as the outsider?
I thought he wasn't coming back as Nathan. Perhaps Nathan whose brain has been taken over by his dad? At least for while. The possibilities are endless and beside all that -- he's really nice to look at!
P.S. I feel the same way about Cameron Mathison -- what a great soapy, sudsy character we can all love to hate!
I think Faison is the Big Boss at Five Poppies, so...may sound farfetched but maybe bringing Faison back to life as Nathan! (Remember Faison as Duke and Faison as Luke?!) Great story possibilities for Maxie, Anna/Leslie and even Rocco now ( Faison was involved in the "Ben" story.)
I loved Nathan but I don't think we need another cast member on the show. You have vets that just travel around meddling in their kids lives, running after dogs, or playing therapist. Use them or loose them and then add another cast member
At first I thought maybe he would come back in a “welcome to heaven” scenario for Maxie and he would reminisce but tell her it’s not her time yet. Now that Maxie has been taken to Boston for care, I doubt that will happen. I don’t want him back to mess with Maxie and Spinelli’s relationship. We will have to stay tuned…🤷🏼♀️

If he is Nathan, then I want him to be a flashback, dream, or ghost. Didn’t they intimate that it was a short-term return?
