This week on the Snarkcast, we begin with a heartfelt (and honest) tribute to Anthony “Tony” Geary, the man who forever changed daytime television as Luke Spencer.
In the first half of the episode, Mama Snark and Snark Jr. reflect on Geary’s extraordinary legacy, from his meteoric rise under Gloria Monty, to the cultural earthquake that was Luke and Laura, to the complicated, often messy, always compelling later years of Luke’s story. We talk charm, chaos, ad-libs, anti-hero energy, and why Luke Spencer remains one of the most influential characters in soap history, even after his on-screen exit.
