Pride & A Lot Of Prejudice
The Week of June 22-26, 2026
It’s Pride Week but there are few people in Port Charles doing anything they can be proud about and an awful lot of people with prejudice in their hearts: LuLu and Dante vs. Britt, Willow vs. Brook Lynn, Curtis vs. Isaiah, just to name a few. Let’s see what the folks of Port Charles are doing that they aren’t very proud of - except for Cullum. He’s proud of everything he does.
THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO HMMMM….:
1.) If that ticking (clicking) sound the safe makes every time you turn that wheel was any louder, they’d probably hear it at General Hospital!
2.) Who knew a simple girl from a cult could go on to be an amazing congresswoman, throwing around words like “rider” and “spending bill” and probably planning her election campaign: “Willow Cain - making a difference!”
3.) So after many discussions about how they have to remain calm and cool, Dante is ready to chuck his entire career as a detective (and now an Interim Chief of Police) to go after Rocco and go on the run with his ex-wife?
4.) So Curtis is quick to jump to Willow’s defense when the police want to speak with her, but still has a bug up his butt when it comes to Isaiah, whom the police are not questioning.
5.) Dante needs to stop at the first gas station he sees and clean that front window!
SHOUTOUT: Gregory Chase, recalled by his son.
REAPPEARANCES: Detective Calvin Bennet was released from the Character Closet™ to prop up information that happened in a secret, invisible episode where Danny tried to break in to the WSB office. Poor Alexis never gets a break!
TRINA’S TINY TANTRUM: Robotic Trina laid down the rules for her family. If she wanted to clear the air, she should have brought some sage. It also works as a natural insect repellent.
HOUSE OF THE RISING CAIN: Willow has her hands full with Sidwell sitting in her house, Detective Fitzpatrick nosing around, and Chase always stopping by. Meanwhile, at the police station, Janine is practically salivating at the chance to nail Congresswoman Cain.
PHOEBE’S PHUTURE: Will she be pretty? Will she be rich? Why, of course! But Chase predicts she will focus on her career first as a point guard for the New York Liberty or a Supreme Court Justice. We agree with Brook Lynn that next to a man in a uniform, a man in a uniform singing to a baby is pretty darn great.
TAKE THIS DOWN, OFFICER: He did, he went to Willow’s while Chase was there and somehow got the info he needed so by week’s end, Willow was told there is proof that she was on Route 91 within seconds of the car accident.
Sidwell is still looking for his son’s killer, while setting up temporary quarters at the Cain house. Jordan finally woke up from her delusions about the car accident and started to look for clues in Sidwell’s files. She found the property Jenz bought for Marco and Lucas, to give to them as a wedding present. Laura and Jordan were quick to bring Nathan into the loop and Nathan told them to keep hush but then called someone to report they have a problem.
CHEM TEST: They don’t even need to “test” with Ava. Everyone has chemistry with Ava, including those portraits on the wall. But should these two get together? All Sonny wanted to do is badger her about Sidwell and tried to use Avery as a bargaining chip. He got to play Tiny Mobster this week, throwing around the threats in the ridiculous manner he always does.
SECOND TO NON(E)-SENSE: Dante and LuLu are getting even more insufferable than they’ve been before and Nathius is just busy rehashing plot points. I mean, how long does it take to give someone an address? Dante made sure to update Liz before he and LuLu went on the run. When they got to Britt, they had it out. Rocco fessed up about telling Charlotte and Danny to get in touch with Nathius, who got the medication to Britt via postal mail. Britt also fessed up about her part in the experiment. Rocco said he would leave with LuLu and Dante, but only if Britt could come with them. After some back and forth, LuLu left it up to Britt, who told Rocco he must go. After they all leave, Britt is about to inject herself when the police bust in and arrest her for kidnapping.
PICK YOUR PHRASING: IS IT BLACKMAIL, QUID PRO QUO OR EXTORTION?: Our friend Lucy Coe has done all three in the past but the math ain’t mathing here. Tracy supposedly owns the majority at 51% while the other 49% is split between Lucy and Maxie. Before Tracy became the majority shareholder, it supposedly was split 70/30 with Lucy and Sasha. So how exactly is Lucy Coe going to be the majority stockholder once Brook Lynn gives her her shares?
ENTER THE METRO COURT POOL: This is late for Port Charles. We usually get the pool set out a lot earlier. I guess Frank and company was distracted by that other body of water: the three foot lake and new dock at the boathouse on the Quartermaine estate. And James wants to play “Marco Polo” in the 10 foot by 3 foot pool.
Brook Lynn recapped to Phoebe about her situation while Chase went to talk to Tracy. Chase spilled the beans about the job offer from Willow. Tracy apologized, saying she stepped out of line telling Chase to pack his things and how she did it because of her past dealings with her husbands.
WHO IS HAVING THE BIGGER PISSING CONTEST?: Isaiah vs. Curtis; Willow vs. Justine; Chase vs. Fitzpatrick?

BLINK ONCE FOR YES, TWICE FOR NO: Why is the only person who can carry on a decent conversation with Blinky McDrewfus is the new detective?
ANNA’S BACK AND SO ARE THE ACCENTS: Frank loves to have his “foreign” characters speak in other languages and then have heavy accents while speaking in English. I wonder how many are the real deal and how many have to put on the hokey accent? So THIS is the area where we stick to realism? - Not, say - with hospital jargon and procedures?
Anna spent the bulk of her first day back convincing the doctor that she was delusional - while remembering everything that happened to her - and that she’s better now. The doctor let her call Felicia, and Felicia is ready to jump on a plane (and bring Emma) the next day to go see Anna (but, of course!). Mac, Felicia and Emma flew (literally) to her side. After everyone visits, Anna tells Felicia Nathan West is not who he says he is.
CHARLOTTE: The junior Cassadine had a busy week, listening in on her mother’s conversation with Laura, reporting to Danny that someone told LuLu and Dante where Rocco was, that he shot Cullum, and that Mom and Pop were locating him to go on the run. Danny reacted with his usual flare-up and Charlotte had to talk him down. She also had it out with Nina at the Crimson office. How ironic that Willow calls her Mom from the station during their argument. Later, Charlotte yells at Danny for his stupidity while a new goon has been tracking Charlotte. The “goon” is Agent Marc McCabe from the WSB (is everyone corrupt?) and tries to force Charlotte to come with him but Danny knocks him out and he and Charlotte run.
EVERYONE CONFIDES IN CASSIUS: Justine puts him in charge of finding Sidwell and Laura and Jordan confide in him that they think Sidwell is right in Port Charles. Nathius makes sure they’ve told no one else but then makes a phone call right outside Jordan’s door, reporting in that they have a problem. Even Joss, who has been confiding in him all along, put in her weekly appearance to berate him for what he’s doing.
CONFESSIONAL: Carly recapped the entire Valentin escapade to Lucas. Lucas guessed she was “seeing” Val. Lucas also filled her in about Cullum after she told her side of the Cullum story to say he murdered Marco. And true to form, Carly panics and has to get Joss out of Wyndemere now so it’s Lucas’ turn to talk her down. Lucas asks Carly to give it one more day for Valentin to get to the authorities and then they will go to Wyndemere to get Joss; Cullum confesses to Harker how he set Nathius up and he took the bait - stealing the medication, which is now poisoned - and getting it to Britt.
FUN FACTS: Sidwell was going to give Marco and Lucas a property at 352 Vista Lane as a wedding present.
QUOTES OF THE WEEK:
“I was worried about her. She was injured.” - Chase, referring to Willow landing in the lake.
“Injured? She needed a band-aid and a blow dryer but this isn’t about Willow. She knows what SHE’S doing and I know what SHE’S doing!” - Tracy
******
“It’ll be so fun. We can take Phoebe and Violet to Pike Place Market, maybe even the Space Needle… or not.” - Brook Lynn as she sees Chase isn’t listening to her and trying to see what is going on with Willow and Detective Fitzpatrick
******
“Okay, I can explain that…” - Nina, responding to Charlotte’s accusation about selling her out to Brennan
“No, you tried to sell me and my father out. You don’t care about either one of us AT ALL!” - Charlotte
“Charlotte, Charlotte, that is not true!” - Nina
“The lying part? Or the part where you tried to use me? Which part am I getting wrong?” - Charlotte
******
“I wish that we could finish this conversation.” - Nina, after taking a phone call from Willow and needing to rush to the police station
“Why?” - Charlotte
“Because I hate leaving you like this!” - Nina
“But you’re so good at it.” - Charlotte, as she turns to check her phone and ignore Nina

What were your favorite moments this week?

I love that Anna is back, and love her French Bob! Of course she would get one in the mental institution, doesn’t every institution have a salon just off the courtyard?
Gotta say that my favorite moment was when the local police broke into Britt's cottage and arrested her, interrupted her injecting herself with the poison. On a side note, I wonder if Lulu will have a change of heart and have Dante turn around and go back to get Britt to come with them on their summer 'adventure'. She was sure looking guilty through those dirty windows.
